BannaBikira Kyengera Women's Center

The Bannabikira Sisters, a Ugandan Catholic institution with a rich history of social service since 1955, recently established the Kyengera Women’s Hospital. This hospital aims to address the healthcare needs of the underprivileged, particularly mothers and children, in an urban area with limited access due to traffic congestion. It serves as the latest addition to the Sisters’ extensive healthcare network, which includes hospitals, health centers, and training facilities for medical professionals.

This initiative reflects their ongoing commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities in Uganda.

Maternity Services

We  provide comprehensive care for pregnant women throughout their pregnancy journey, conducting deliveries and ensuring the well-being of both mothers and newborns.

HIV/AIDS Services

We understand the importance of confidential  healthcare for people living with HIV/AIDS. Our dedicated team offers testing, counseling, and antiretroviral treatment (ART) to empower individuals and manage their condition effectively.

Health Education

We believe in empowering communities through knowledge. We offer health talks and workshops on various health topics, raising awareness and promoting healthy behaviors thus a better and healthy life for mothers and babies.
